In 2011, Linkedin revolutionized what companies are able to post on their own pages, as well as providing users the ability to post reviews and recommendations for companies. This sets the foundation for Linkedin to begin to be a powerful tool to help those looking for a vendor or partner.
Linkedin is already the go-to destination to find out all you want to know on your coworkers and possible new hires, and now that comes true for individual companies.
When you now look at company pages, you can see a list of services, products, and how a particular company might compare with others in that industry. Take a look at how What’s Up Interactive’s staff mix compares with other agencies in our space.
Linkedin aggregates all the employee data and provides an easy snapshot view for company comparisons.
This completely changes the game for companies.

If Linkedin is a valuable tool used by prospects looking for products and services your company provides, your company or organization needs to begin asking new questions.
1. Are all employees on Linkedin? Are their profiles up to date and reflect accurate information?
2. Should the company promote its services and products on Linkedin? What customers can make recommendations?
3. Does the company page truly reflect the company’s culture and value proposition?
We are currently working with several organizations, and even our own Linkedin profile, addressing these issues.
You never know where your company is likely to make that first impression on a prospective buyer. It’s always important to create the best store front possible, no matter where the entrance is located. With today’s digital world, store fronts open up all the time.
